They’re all fascinating and informative—some condense the issue into a concise message, while others take the form of short dramas. “What is human trafficking?” (by UNODC, 2025)

①What is human trafficking? Children’s Version　(1’36”)

This is a short animated film for children. A boy’s voice narrates, “Did you know? All the girls and boys in the world have the right to be protected from situations and people who threaten us or want to control…” The video clearly illustrates the warning signs of potential dangers that children might face, and it’s a wonderful resource that helps children fully understand the horrors of human trafficking by watching it over and over again.

②What is human trafficking and how does it happen? (3’45”)

Like the one mentioned above, this is an animated video designed to be very easy for children to understand. As we’ve seen, no matter where you are in the world, vulnerable people—such as those of different races, immigrants, and travelers—are often targeted. The video makes it clear that if you become a victim of such a crime, it is not the victim who should be arrested, but the perpetrators who committed crimes such as fraud or human trafficking. I believe it is crucial for the anti-human trafficking movement to consistently raise awareness that victims should never give up simply because they are in a vulnerable position.
