As Korea fought for freedom throughout the ages and rebuilt after many wars, trafficking situations came to be seen as essential to survival. From forced marriage to salt mines, learn about the myriad ways women, children, and men are trafficked. Find out who, if anyone, is fighting for the vulnerable and exploited in Korea. And learn what you can do to contribute to the fight locally and abroad.Michelle Roberts is a US citizen, living in Asia for nine years. With a background in marketing and communications, she consults for businesses and NPOs looking to launch or improve performance within the Japan market. When not working, Michelle volunteers with human trafficking related NPOs in Korea and Japan.<\/div>\n
